On April 28, 2001, upwards of
25 of our classmates met together on the steps of Franklin K. Lane High
School in Brooklyn, NY, for an unimaginably nostalgic experience.
Forty eight years after graduation they got to walk through their Alma Mata
as the guests of the current principal, Paul Pedota, and his assistant,
Herb Heuman. After that memorable tour they regrouped at a nearby
restaurant to reminisce and reflect on all their beloved school has
meant to them in the years that followed.
That eventful day, described in the pages to
follow, was the direct result of an original idea conceived by Johanna
Giannone, who then organized the labor of love needed to bring it
to bring it to fruition. All who were present are invited to
share with us your reflections of that day. -Warren
