Hi Warren,
     What a rich and thorough Education we received at F.K.Lane H.S.,  preparing us for our life's work  and we had fun besides!   There were so many memories of my years at Lane that it would be hard to sort them out and set them down.  Being a part of the School Chorus...running for Secretary of the G.O. ..(if anyone remembers who ran against me and WON...let me know).  Being chosen Best Athlete...but, after striving for that Trophy for four years, they stopped awarding it the year I won and gave a "paper certificate".  I haven't gotten over it yet!  I loved gym and my Maroon Leader's outfit!! Yes, girls, I even enjoyed wearing the green one!  Who can forget all the extra-curricular activities.....Basketball, Volleyball, Robe & Wig Club where some of the lessons learned  were invaluable as teen-agers.    Sometimes I sing the catchy little tune..."oh, to be a kid again...doing what I did again"...to my grandchildren. They always
ask..."Grandma, why do you sing that song?"  I think on Saturday, April 28th, standing with my classmates from 1953.....I found the answer!
            "My cup runneth over"
