| I went
to City College for a year and a half, then went into the Army for 2 years
(Okinawa), then back to CCNY to get a B.S. I went to graduate school for a
Ph.D. in biochemistry and worked as a research biochemist for a while.
I went back to school and became a physician in l975. I took
my postgraduate training at North Shore Hospital in Manhasset and
became an Internist in Great Neck, Long Island. For the past 10
years I have been a staff physician for the same hospital. This year
I began cutting down on my work schedule and work 3 days per week. I
married Mary Giordano in 1957, and we have 2 children and now three
grandchildren, all of whom live locally (lucky us). My son Nick is a
dentist and works in Great Neck. All in all I've been a lucky guy.
