I would love to hear from the June graduates who remember me. I remember some of the names on the list that I had in my classes (Marlene Tarnower, Helene Schottenfeld, Marilyn Kwasnik).
I live in Elmont, NY and have been here for 37 yrs. I am married to an ex-Laneite, Louis Zacarese for 42-1/2 yrs and we have been blessed with two children, Mary Ellen and Louis who, in turn, have blessed us with 7 grandchildren. They are the highlights of our lives. We are fortunate that they all live within 10 minutes of us so we get to see them quite often. Our oldest grandson is 13 yrs. old and the youngest is 1-1/2 yrs. old. We have Nickolas (13), Kelcey (9) and Gregory (7), our son's children and Amy (7) and Robert (7), twins, Angela (3) and John (1-1/2), our daughter's children. Our daughter is an R.N. and our son is a C.P.A.

I read with interest that Johanna Giannone lives in Franklin Square. Gee, that's just the next town over from me. I wonder if we ever saw one another and didn't know it. I also see that Marilyn Kwasnik, Helene Schottenfeld and Marlene Tarnower are listed. They are names that I recognize. I think we were all in the same classes. Would love to hear from them. I still keep in touch with some ex-Laneites that graduated with us (Eleanor Milinis, living in Georgia, Rosemary Cimino, living in Commack, and Elmira Bongiorvino, living in Valley Stream).
Looking forward to hearing from anyone that remembers me or doesn't remember me but wants to chat and maybe we can just reminisce.

I work in the local high school, Elmont Memorial, as a secretarial assistant for the Assistant Superintendent for Finance and have been here for 23 yrs. Love the job but looking forward to retirement.
