Madeline Casillo Mando tells us that Mike Visone, a friend of her family, died a few years ago of emphysema. Mary Ann (Satriale) Zacarese shares her memory of Mike with us below.

| I was in some classes with Mike. He was one of the nicest guys around. I had such a "crush" on him. He was so handsome and a real regular guy. I was devastated when I read his name on the deceased list. In the group picture of the June graduating class where we are all on the front steps of Lane on "Senior Day" I am sitting next to Mike. We had such a great time that day. I was so thrilled that he was sitting next to me. It's been many years but I can still picture him, his smile, on the dance floor (he was a great dancer) and always with a big "hello" whenever he saw me. He was a great person. - Mary Ann Zacarese |
