Charles Fleischmann has enjoyed an extensive career in chemistry over the past 40+ years.  Upon leaving Lane he embarked on a pursuit of higher education, resulting in his earning many degrees, ranging from a B.S. in chemistry from Queens College in 1957 to his PhD in that subject from Brooklyn's Poly U. in 1970.  Positions he has held include Research Scientist at NL Industries, Engineering Manager of Honeywell Corporation, and Director of Research & Development for the Exide Corporation.
     In 1959 he married Claudette Eveline Lemaire and they now have three married children-- Charles, Craig, and Christan.
