A SENIOR'S LOT
You're
a senior now
No longer just a student.
Friends, teachers, everyone
expects you to be prudent.
Time
is very fleeting,
There's so much to he done.
A senior's lot is full of work,
But also full of fun.
Your
emotions are so muddled,
You cannot laugh or cry,
And so you do just nothing
Except sit back and sigh.
Life
is oh so different!
At times you feel quite strange,
And suddenly you almost wish
The atmosphere would change.
There
are things that you remember,
There are things that you regret;
Most of all there are some things
You wish you could forget.
Life
is now upon you
You have no time to think;
Your thoughts are swirling round
Still floating on a brink.
If
only you could live
As once you used to do,
Before you were a Senior
Before this life so new.
