On 6/01/02 the administrators, Arista and other club members of Franklin K.
Lane High School hosted a BBQ and school tour for our Class of 1953. There
was a good turnout with class members coming from all across the country to
attend. As guests arrived they were welcomed by the planning committee and
other volunteers. Each member and his or her escort were given name badges
identifying them as follows:

Many of the photos taken inside the school are of poor quality due to the dim
lighting. Those of you who were taking flash photos and have good quality
shots are encouraged to submit them for posting to the web. Electronic
submissions are preferred. If mailing photos be sure to write on the back of
each the subjects' names and any other caption appropriate. If you want
the pictures returned to you please include a self-addressed envelope with
sufficient postage. My mailing address is in the directory. If you need

We of The Class of 1953 wish to express our most sincere appreciation for a delightful day of reuniting and reminiscing that will remain in our memories indefinitely. Besides School Principal, Paul Pedota and Vice Principle, Herb Heumann along with their wives, Jeannette Pedota and Maxine Heumann, the following list of students and staff helped to make this day so wonderful: Custodian, Walter Mericki and his staff; A.P.
